Here come the two important news from tech giant Microsoft. If you are a fan of Microsoft’s veteran web browser, it’s time to say good-bye to Internet Explorer. IE will be replaced by the tech giant’s latest web browser project codenamed “Spartan”. Internet Explorer was already was on the path to its demise as users are using modern web browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Users are avoiding internet explorer due to several reasons and I also always avoided IE for below reasons:
- Poor User Interface
- Slow web page loading speed
- No support for addon or plugin. Firefox and Chrome have bulk of extension in separate web store. But IE lacks in this area.
- Security issues
Feature of tabbed browsing is also late adopted by IE. Microsoft Internet Explorer is one of the older web browser and was in dominance in year 2000. But after when new browser like Firefox comes, internet users switch to the Firefox for more powerful and easy web browsing.
Microsoft has announced that it will bring its new web browser in its upcoming Windows 10. The new of new web browser will come under project Spartan.
The Seattle-based corporation are in process of researching the brand or new name for its new browser. Internet Explorer will continue in some version of Windows 10 for enterprise support. But in Windows for perfect browsing, we have use the browser to be named under project Spartan.
The tech company is likely to put its name in front of its upcoming & unnamed browser as users are more likely to favor those service which have company’s name on it.
Chrome users are very appealed by putting the company name (Microsoft) in front of it.
Some of the users of internet are very sad by getting the info about the ditching of IE. They said in their experience IE feels much faster than or similar to Firefox and Chrome and some of the online software are only compatible with IE.
The new browser from Microsoft need to be something different or have some great features in order to break the market of already established web browsers like Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox. Also they have to consider about the mobile usability of their browser as the web’s future is held in mobile usage. IE was very dumb in the area of mobile usability.
The new browser will come with some unique features like Coratana, reading mode and annotation tools. Let’s wait and see What Microsoft is bringing good to us?
